USPS® Proposes Rate Change for January 2016
Businesses hoping for a breather after the holiday rush are now preparing for a potential postal rate change. On Friday, October 16, the United States Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission for a proposed price increase to go into effect January 17, 2016.
The good news is it won’t affect prices for First Class mail or other mailing products. The price change will only affect the USPS shipping service® products. If this rate change is approved, it will be the first increase in more than three years for commercial priority mail.
